The Wuyi Mountain Tea Area in Fujian Province has unexpected peaks and thousands of beautiful rocks. Different rocks have different tea aromas. It is a feng shui treasure endowed by nature for oolong tea. According to legend, a long time ago, tea farmers would spontaneously organize a tea fighting party in early June, and one person Only a small piece of tea tree has sprouted new buds. Everyone commented: "Spring has passed, why did it sprout?" So everyone named it "I don't know spring".
Perhaps it was because of the missed sprouting of the spring harvest that it developed its own unique aroma. It has the atmosphere of Mingcong and the richness of narcissus. It has also become one of the best aromas of Wuyi rock tea at present.
"Ignorant Spring" is one of the highly fragrant varieties of Wuyi rock tea. It combines the aroma of Ming Cong with the richness of Shui Xian. It is one of the varieties with the best aroma among Wuyi rock teas because there are fewer tea trees than other Wuyi rock tea varieties. The output is also lower and more precious. Wuyishan only produces small batches of tea. This tea from Tongxinshe comes from Zheng Yan Tian You Yan. The color of the tea soup is orange-yellow and translucent, clear and flawless. It is sweet and smooth in the mouth. After swallowing, the fragrance lingers on the teeth and cheeks, and the cold fragrance is more Long-lasting and far-reaching, the dry tea is tightly knotted, dark brown in color with a sandy finish, and has a light chestnut aroma. The color of the soup is orange and bright like amber, with delicate agarwood in the water. The taste is soft and full with the aroma of clear flowers and frankincense and other floral and fruity aromas, like the aroma of sugar cane or thatch root, and the taste is mellow and long. The aroma in the hanging cup is the most intense and long-lasting, the soup feels particularly smooth, the water taste is mellow, and it is resistant to brewing. The longer it brews, the more obvious and sweet the flavor becomes, and the woody earthy aroma is prominent.
The origin of the legend "I don't know spring"
In ancient times, there was a man named Han Xiutang who loved tea most in his life. He read the "Tea Classic", recited tea poems, wrote tea poems, and drank tea from famous mountains in various places.
One day, he heard someone say: "The mountains in Wuyi Mountain are the most beautiful mountains, the water in Wuyi Mountain is the sweetest water, and the tea in Wuyi Mountain is the most fragrant tea." Han Xiutang was so happy that he hurried to Wuyi Mountain and chose a quiet valley to live.
Unexpectedly, it was unfortunate that the Qingming Festival and Grain Rain had passed at this time, and the Touchun tea on the slopes, ditches, and streams of Wuyi Mountain had already been picked down the mountain. However, Han Xiutang was still very interested when he saw Wuyi's strange peaks and splendid mountains and waters. He happily enjoyed the strange teas in various shapes and forms all over the mountains and ridges.
He climbed over one peak after another and saw the world-famous "Dahongpao" tea on the waist of Jiulong Nest; he climbed over one slope after another and saw the "White Chicken Crown" tea that was praised by everyone behind Huiyuan Pit; he drank a He went from one stream to another, and saw the lush "narcissus" tea beside the Jiuqu stream; he climbed over one rock after another, and saw the "diao golden turtle" tea hanging on the Fenglindan rock wall...
Walking and walking in Hanxiutang, I looked at, touched and smelled the various Wuyi famous bushes one by one, as if they were precious treasures. It was a feast for the eyes and a joy for the heart. .
He walked in and out of the mountains, up and down the slopes, in and out of the woods. When he arrived at a large rock at the foot of Tianyou Peak, he suddenly smelled a strange fragrance that refreshed his heart and spleen. The fragrance is like sweet-scented osmanthus and orchid, rich and sweet, and it smells so good! Han Xiutang raised his head and looked to the left, but there was no sweet-scented osmanthus tree, and to the right, there was no orchid grass either. I don’t know where it came from. This fresh fragrance.
He was very surprised, so he followed the scent and looked for it. Unknowingly, we walked into a large dark cave. The cave was cool and moist. With a few rays of sunlight penetrating into the cave, we could see no orchid bushes in front of us and no osmanthus trees in sight when we looked back. I saw a big tea tree growing among the rocks. The tea tree is huge, with thick and long leaves. The tree is covered with strings of dense green buds. The buds sway in the wind, sometimes like orchids, sometimes like sweet-scented osmanthus. The fragrance comes. Han Xiutang couldn't help but was stunned: the Touchun tea outside the cave had been picked down the mountain a long time ago. Why did the tea trees sprout in the cave? He couldn't help but sigh and said: "Spring begins to sprout. I really don't know where spring is." !" As soon as he finished speaking, there was a burst of laughter from outside the cave. Looking back, it turned out to be a girl in red standing at the entrance of the cave with a tea basket in her hand. She said with a smile: "Oh, the tea 'I don't know spring' is delicious. What a good name! Thank you, sir."
It turns out that the girl in red is a tea girl from Wuyi Mountain. She picks this late-budding tea tree every year before the Dragon Boat Festival. But this tea tree has no name, and even after asking all the tea farmers in the mountains, they don’t know it! The girl in red thought, can she give it to me? This tea tree would be beautiful if it had a good name! She thought for a long time but could not come up with a nice and appropriate name. When she heard that the scholar had given the tea tree a good name, she was so happy that she hurriedly answered, And gave a salute to Mr.
Han Xiutang saw the girl thanking her non-stop and said sheepishly: "The young man just said it casually. Since the girl likes this name, let's call it 'I don't know spring'!"
From then on, the Wuyi people called the tea tree growing in the cave and beside the rock "Ignorant of Spring". Every year, village girls pluck it from a single bush and make tea. Because the tea tastes fragrant and mellow. After drinking it, the fragrance lingers in your mouth, and it is listed among the famous Wuyi people.
