Only the deep mountain wilderness can nurture rock tea of extraordinary character.
Only the precipitation of time can achieve the ultimate mellow and aromatic flavor.
Tongxin She carefully selects high-altitude wilderness Rou Gui from Wu San Di, Wuyi Mountain. Abandoning quick production and upholding craftsmanship, we have refined this wild Rou Gui through three meticulous roasts and a full year of natural aging, solely to bring out its unique rich aroma and mellow taste. It is officially launched today, and we sincerely invite tea lovers to come and taste it in person.
Located on the thousand-meter-high mountains of Wu San Di, a secluded wilderness rarely visited by humans, the tea trees grow completely in accordance with nature with minimal human intervention. Rooted in the fertile soil of the deep mountains, nourished by clouds and mist, and infused with the vitality of the wilderness, they endow this wild Rou Gui with an innate wild charm. Distinct from ordinary rock tea, it carries a crisp and lofty mountain terroir, with a fuller taste foundation and richer inner substances.
We deeply understand the preciousness of wild tea and refine it with extreme traditional craftsmanship. Three gentle charcoal roasts are applied slowly and gradually, without burning or dryness.
The first roast removes the green astringency and awakens the tea’s authentic aroma.
The second roast enhances the fragrance layer by layer, deeply integrating the wild charm with the fresh and sweet peach aroma.
The third roast stabilizes the tea’s character, making the tea soup thoroughly rich and mellow.
Each roast is designed to amplify the aromatic layers of the wild Rou Gui and strengthen the dense texture of the liquor.
Even more remarkably, after the completion of the new tea, we patiently waited for a full year of natural aging without rushing to market, allowing time to soften the tea’s nature and settle its flavors.
Through aging, the roasting aroma fades completely, and the fragrance of the wild Rou Gui becomes purer and longer-lasting — the fresh and sweet peach aroma flows elegantly, accompanied by subtle cassia notes and wild freshness. The fragrance is prominent yet gentle, lingering yet full, refreshing the heart and mind upon inhalation.
On the palate, it presents the unique richness of wild Rou Gui. The liquor is dense, smooth, full and substantial, with no thinness at all, and flavors unfold layer upon layer. The crispness of the mountains, the sweetness of peach, and the “rock bone floral fragrance” of rock tea all blend into the liquor. After swallowing, the sweet aftertaste surges and lingers long on the lips and teeth. It balances wildness and gentleness, rich but not heavy, sweet but not bland. Every sip reveals the unique charm of the deep mountain wilderness, demonstrating the extraordinary quality of top-grade wild Rou Gui.
A cup of Wu San Di Rou Gui holds the vitality of high mountain clouds, the craftsmanship of three charcoal roasts, and the tenderness of time-aged maturity. With an intoxicating aroma and mellow taste, it fully displays the character of the wilderness.
Tongxin She awaits all discerning tea lovers with this fine tea, to share this rare and exquisite Wuyi rock tea experience.
