The name “Dancong” originates from its cultivation and production tradition: single‑tree plucking, single‑tree processing, and single‑tree offering. Though premium cultivars are sometimes harvested in batches in modern‑day large‑scale production, the pursuit of meticulous craftsmanship and distinctive character remains intact.
Da’an sits in Fenghuang Town, Chao’an District, Chaozhou, one of the core terroirs for Fenghuang Dancong. The village is celebrated for its ancient tea gardens, home to numerous time‑honoured old‑cong tea bushes shaped by decades of mountain life.
Bamboo‑Leaf belongs to the Cymbidium fragrance category, one among hundreds of Dancong cultivars. It takes its name from its distinct fresh‑bamboo aroma. When brewed, the liquor unfurls bright, refreshing bamboo notes woven with subtle orchid fragrance and restrained hints of almond.
