In the northern part of Fujian Province, there is Wuyi Mountain, known as "the most beautiful place in the southeast". Due to its unique ecological environment, climatic conditions, and exquisite traditional production skills, the Wuyi rock tea produced here is famous far and wide. Today, Tongxinshe Teahouse led Russian tea lovers to visit Teacher You Yuqiong, the only female inheritor of the first batch of national Wuyi Rock Tea intangible cultural heritage.

Ps: Tongxinshe Tea House will share two trial packages of teacher You Yu Qiong’s representative work “Gold Sakyamuni” and the anonymous tea “Yu Qiong” named after her: 1 bag of each type of tea/20 grams in total.

Gold Sakyamuni: Since the Song Dynasty, the Golden Buddha variety has been hidden in the torrent of history and cannot be found. In 1993, by chance, You Yuqiong, the first batch of national Wuyi Rock Tea intangible cultural heritage inheritors, discovered a strain in the tea garden. The tea tree that has mutated from a strange species, and its green tea leaves are made into rock tea, has a very special aroma and taste. Even she, who has been rolling in a pile of tea since she was a child, has never heard of it, because the tea tree grows in Shuangshixi. Qiu Tea Garden, facing the Baiyun Temple with Twilight Drum and Morning Bell, and this special fragrance, reminded You Yuqiong of the legendary Golden Buddha Tea. In 1998, You Yuqiong established the Wuyishan Golden Buddha Rock Tea Research Institute, visited experts from famous schools, and devoted himself to After more than 40 years in the industry, You Yuqiong spent 25 years polishing this Golden Buddha, which took up two-thirds of her tea-making career. Finally, a small variety with stable quality and large annual output has been formed. This Golden Buddha tea is of excellent quality, and the tea soup has a high and rich aroma. The taste is sweeter than ordinary Wuyi rock tea.

The bottom of the cup is fragrant, and there is still a lingering fragrance after brewing seven times. , is another precious famous product in Wuyi Mountain after the Dahongpao. In 2013, You Yuqiong's "Golden Buddha" was included in the collection "Dahongpao (005/006)" of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage inheritors. Officially collected by the National Museum of China.

This is also the second Dahongpao work collected by the National Museum of China since the original Dahongpao was collected in 2007.

Yu Qiong: This tea was jointly developed by Dahongpao intangible cultural heritage inheritor You Yuqiong and Chen Changsong, an expert in oolong tea variety improvement. The research and development period took nearly ten years. Most varieties in Wuyi Mountain are harvested during the flood season. She wanted to stagger the peak period. Able to produce a variety with both fragrance and water, after years of communication with Chen Changsong, an expert in oolong tea variety improvement, we jointly developed "Yu Qiong Tea". In seven or eight years of quality tracking experiments, its scores were generally higher than other experiments. Variety, in the 12th "China Tea Cup" (the country's largest tea competition) in 2017, "Yu Qiong Tea" won the special prize in the Oolong Tea Group. Yuqiong tea is only grown in the variety incubation garden of Xiqiu, which covers an area of more than 1,300 acres. It is a national agricultural tourism demonstration attraction and is currently the largest organic experimental base tea garden in Xiqiu. At the same time, this tea garden is also responsible for a number of national-level tea scientific research project experiments.

Teacher You Yuqiong entered the industry at the age of 17 and studied under Chen Shusheng, a generation review master in the industry, and Chen Dehua, the intangible inheritor of Dahongpao production skills. After 40 years of tea making, she has gained a clear understanding of rock tea production, varieties and mountain farms. In 2006, she became the first batch of 12 people to produce national-level Wuyi Rock Tea (Dahong). She is the only female inheritor of the intangible inheritance skills of making robes and is famous.

She said: "The role of an inheritor is not to tell others how great I am. Its real role is to remind myself of my responsibilities and obligations to pass on the craft. At the same time, I should push this craft out of the mountains so that others can see it and appreciate it. Admire it.”
