Tracing back through the long history of tea, Wuyi Mountain is like a brilliant pearl. Its tea production can be traced back to the distant Tang Dynasty and has been renowned throughout China. Wuyi Rock Tea is like a huge gene bank of tea trees with numerous varieties. There were more than a thousand varieties mentioned in historical records, and in the "Wuyi Tea Records", there were as many as 264 varieties with verifiable names just in the Huiwan Rock area. Among them, the famous tea bushes of Wuyi are the essence, which are excellent individual tea tree plants carefully selected and cultivated over time. Today, Tongxin She Teahouse is honored to present this extremely rare "Yu Qi Lin" to everyone.

"Yu Qi Lin", as the top of the traditional famous tea bushes in Wuyi and ranking first among the ten rare famous tea bushes, got its name because its tea leaves resemble the mythical creature "Qi Lin". Its unique charm starts with its captivating fragrance. The fragrance of roses is rich and fragrant, intertwined with the sweet fragrance of milk and candies. The fragrance has rich layers, elegant and noble, just like an elegant lady showing her charm in every move. Mr. Zhang Tianfu, a respected figure in the tea industry, also praised that "Yu Qi Lin" and the purebred "Da Hong Pao" are like twin brothers, both having the characteristics of being able to withstand multiple infusions and having a long-lasting aftertaste, and they are outstanding varieties among teas.

"Yu Qi Lin" originated from Jiu Long Ke. That magical place gave birth to its unique quality. Now, its cultivation range is gradually expanding, giving more tea lovers the opportunity to taste its fragrance. Although it is a shrub, in its natural growth state, the tea tree is tall and straight, with dense branches and an upright posture, just like a guard standing firmly in the mountains. The characteristics of its tea tree variety are distinct. Asexual reproduction ensures the stable inheritance of its quality. The shrub-shaped plant is compact and elegant. The small leaves are delicate and charming. As a medium-growing variety, it precisely grasps the right timing. It sprouts densely and has strong tenderness retention. In mid-April every year, the stage when one bud with three leaves grows vigorously is full of vitality and hope.

Grown in the embrace of the Danxia landform of Wuyi Mountain, the "Yu Qi Lin" tea tree is endowed with unique advantages. The growing environment at high altitudes enables it to absorb the spiritual energy of the mountains and forests and draw the essence of the fertile soil, resulting in outstanding tea quality. After being made into dry tea, its color is greenish-brown, shiny and fresh. The tea leaves are tightly knotted and slender, just like exquisite works of art. The fragrance of the dry tea is even more remarkable. That special faint fragrance of roses, sweet but not greasy, faint but not weak, is like the saying "The fragrance always remains on the hand that gives the rose", refreshing the heart and mind without being ostentatious, reserved and implicit.

After brewing, the charm of "Yu Qi Lin" unfolds further. The color of the tea soup is bright orange-yellow, as pure as the clear spring in the mountains, shining with a charming luster in the sunlight. Take a sip gently, and the taste of the tea soup dances奇妙ly on the tip of the tongue. It has a proper balance of intensity and lightness, freshness and mellowness. There may be a hint of bitterness when you first taste it, but it immediately turns into sweetness. The fragrance of bamboo leaves fills the mouth and lingers for a long time. Its fragrance type is uniquely charming. The fragrance of roses floats faintly in the tea soup, the fragrance of fruits plays in the water, and the tea leaves at the bottom of the cup emit a faint fragrance of milk. All these fragrances blend with each other, forming a unique charm that is solid, long-lasting, and combines softness and strength, like the sweetness of peaches, the freshness of pears, and the fragrance of silk trees, leaving people with an endless aftertaste.

In this bustling world, you might as well find a quiet place, come to Tongxin She Teahouse, brew a cup of "Yu Qi Lin", let the faint fragrance of tea lead you into the landscapes of Wuyi Mountain, quietly enjoy this moment of peace and beauty, and savor the physical and mental pleasure and spiritual nourishment brought by this rare tea.
