This is an absolute unique collectible teapot, handcrafted by master artisan Qin Xin. It is made of pure vintage Dahongpao red clay, privately collected and preserved by the artisan’s family since the 1970s.

The authentic Dahongpao red clay is the top-tier rare raw material in Zisha craftsmanship. Its original mine in Yixing has been permanently closed and banned from mining. True vintage pure Dahongpao clay is extremely scarce and no longer available on the market.

With an extremely high shrinkage rate, this clay is incredibly difficult to shape and fire, with a finished product rate of less than 30%. Only highly skilled masters can make qualified teapots with this precious clay.

After two years of practical brewing and careful maintenance, the teapot has formed a natural, smooth and glossy patina. It features an exquisite double-pore structure, perfectly designed for all oolong teas. It perfectly locks and releases tea aroma, bringing rich, mellow, and long-lasting tea flavor.

This is a one-of-a-kind heirloom piece with historical clay value and pure handmade craftsmanship. No mass production, no duplication. It is a rare treasure worthy of permanent collection for tea lovers and Zisha collectors.
