DESCRIPTION:The good tea is where the rocks are. There is no good tea without the rocks. Wuyi Mountain is famous for its rocky Danxia landform. Inhaling the essence of the mountains and rivers, the sun and the moon, and the natural scenery, rock tea is born in these rocky valleys. Although the Wuyi Mountains are rich in natural resources, there are only a handful of famous mountain locations and mountain farms with Rou Gui that is the object of tea drinkers' yearning. Ma Tou Yan's Rou Gui is called the "horse meat" by tea enthusiasts, as the character for 'Ma' means a horse, and 'rou' of Rou Gui means meat. Ma Tou Yan is a landmark, a huge formation of weathered rocks that look like a majestic horse from a distance. The surroundings are open, with little shade, so there is plenty of sunlight, which is conducive to the formation of high, more exuberant tea aromas, and bolder flavours.

In order to achieve more authentic characteristics of Ma Tou Yan Rou Gui more, this "Special Ma Tou Yan Rou Gui" is handmade by the top-rank, skilled tea producer, the inheritor of national intangible cultural heritage of Wuyi Rock Tea (Da Hong Pao): Mr. Wang Guo Xing. Master Wang Guoxing has turned Rou Gui's domineering aroma mellow and refreshing. About packaging:
1: 8.3g of the Special grade Ma Tou Yan Rou Gui is packaged in a "one brew" aluminium can. The can is made of food grade aluminium. The small can is not only beautiful but also easier to seal, the tea is not easily exposed to moisture. The aluminium will form a dense oxide film, making the aluminium inside less likely to come into contact with the air and harder to be oxidised, so it will not rust as easily as iron. It is much smaller, feels light in the hand, and is hard enough and not easily deformed, which can better protect the tea leaves.
2: A 50g tin of premium Ma Tou Yan Rou Gui (random color) uses tea tins imported from Japan, the food-grade material directly touches the tea leaves.
