Smooth & light! I mistakenly was first pouring boiling water over the tea & that was a mistake as it then had a bitter taste. Yuck. Now I let the boiling water sit in the pot for a couple of minutes PRIOR submerging the tea infuser. Steep only 2-3 minutes. Now it’s PERFECT!
I really love the flavor of this tea. Not too bland or overbearing at all. The packaging is also a plus. Comes in a nice tin that has a bit of rubber or maybe plastic around the edge of the lid to prevent air from getting in. All the tea bags are wrapped individually and are then sealed in plastic bag. The tea bags themselves are of good quality, don't rip while steeping. Barely, if any, tea leaves in the bottom of your cup.
I originally bought this as I've read it can aid in weight loss. While I am down two lbs in a matter of six days, I'm not sure if it's a result of the tea or of the six days a week I spend exercising and my fairly clean diet. I'll try to remember to follow up in a few months.
I have tried a lot of different brands of chai tea and I always end up going back to this one! You can actually taste and smell the chai. It’s not subtle like others. There’s a spiciness to it. It’s the best!!
