It draws on the beauty of nature and the craftsmanship is exquisite and wonderful. Made from selected sections of purple sand clay, the overall shape is derived from a section of bamboo. The staggered shades and scars on the work are natural and realistic, with no work of chiseling, but the true texture of the bamboo is vividly expressed.
The honest and cute toads on the plate, the fungi, insect eggs, ants, etc. hidden in the scars are all made of fine purple sand.
