The winter solstice is not only one of the most important solar terms in the twenty-four solar terms, but also a traditional festival in China.

There is a folk saying that "the winter solstice is as big as the year", and the ancients like to call it "sub-year".

The winter solstice does not mean the coming of cold winter. In fact, on the day of the winter solstice, the sun is low and the days are short, but there is residual heat on the ground. Dawang Peak is the first of the thirty-six peaks in Wuyi Mountain. It is the dividing line in the south of the mountain field of Matouyan. It is the first peak entering Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area. It is praised for the poem: "Standing like a pillar of the sky, the majestic town of Ganweidong, only say that the universe is big, who knows how to make great achievements!" Dawangfeng is surrounded by cliffs, and there is Zhang Xianyan on the waist of the peak. It is said that it is the place where Zhang Gai sat in the Han Dynasty. There is Tianjian Pond, the water in the pool is very clear, although the drought is inexhaustible. The name of the flowing spring on the pool is "Hanbi Spring". Since ancient times, good tea has been grown in high mountains. Whether it is Pu'er tea from Yunnan, Mengding mountain tea from Sichuan, or high mountain tea from Taiwan, they are all produced in the pollution-free tea areas with beautiful mountains and rivers, and rock tea is no exception. Dawangfeng shines in the sun in the morning, and the rocks block the sun at noon. The water trickles all the year round, and the clouds and mists are filled in the four seasons. This micro-climate creates a strong aroma, mellow and thick taste, and a sweet aftertaste. There is a touch of frankincense in Dawangfeng. .
